About the guy.
Jonathan Novack is an accomplished TV host, AMS-sealed meteorologist, and news reporter who has worked across the country. Currently Jonathan works as a freelance meteorologist for the FOX-owned station in Los Angeles, KTTV-TV FOX11.
With more than 20 years of on-air experience, Jonathan has covered the gamut: from the record 2005 hurricane season to the red carpet at the Oscars, to producing and hosting a dating game show filmed in front a live studio audience. Previous to KTTV, Jonathan worked as a host for Tennis Channel's "Court Report", a meteorologist for KABC-TV in Los Angeles and a correspondent for ABC's "On The Red Carpet".
Jonathan began his on-camera career in 2001 in Lubbock, TX, as a weather anchor and feature reporter. With an entertaining and sharp style on-air, he soon jumped to the FOX affiliate in Miami, WSVN, where he covered the record 2005 hurricane season and sharpened his teeth working the red carpets of South Beach. In 2007, he became the weekend meteorologist and feature reporter at the NBC station in Houston, KPRC-TV. In 2010, Jonathan moved to Los Angeles, where he opened his own TV performance class, and landed jobs at Tennis Channel, KABC-TV and even ABC's On The Red Carpet.
One of Jonathan's proudest accomplishments is developing an anti-bullying program called Bully Free TV, where high school students train on-camera for six weeks, and then put together their own newscast covering anti-bullying related topics. The pilot program was in San Pedro CA, and was a huge success. The students' newscast was professionally edited and screened for the entire school in an auditorium, where each participant received a certificate of achievement.
Jonathan lives in Hollywood and loves playing tennis and poker (not at the same time), and hangs out with his wonderful dog named Winnie.
